Kiwis in Tbilisi

It has been great to have so many kiwis in our company over this last week. Even tho they are here in a rugby coaching or refereeing role, the girls and I have still been able to hang out with them and take them to markets, restaurants and generally show them around our new city. I think they have been pleasantly surprised, especially with the generosity and hospitality of the Georgian people.

Rugby in Georgia like in New Zealand is a very popular sport. They are very proud of their National team and support them with sell out crowds, lots of noise and a party like atmosphere. So, I shouldn't have been so surprised at the buzz around Tana Umanga arriving in Georgia. He is internationally known, even in this part of the world and is often stopped in the street to sign something or have his photo taken. Our girls think this is funny and they are often seen hanging off his legs or pulling bunny ears over his head in fans photos.

We hope you enjoyed your stay In Tbilisi Tana.
